Did you know there is NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING you can do to separate yourself from the love of God? Do you feel like you have messed up so much that there is no way God could still love you?
Or maybe you feel like you have walked so far away from God that there is no turning back because He won’t be there when you turn around?
Did you know there is NOTHING that will keep God from loving you?
What reassurance to know that our Heavenly Father loves you unconditionally.
When you turn around, He is there with open arms.
He is simply waiting for you to face Him and embrace His open arms of love for you!
Romans 8:38-39 says, "And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord."
When is a time that you have gone into worship with a heavy heart but come out of it with indescribable peace?
Let's uplift each other today by reflecting on moments when worshipping God has brought total peace beyond our comprehension.
How have you seen God DO IT for you!?!
May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together - spirit, soul, and body - and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The One who called you is completely dependable. If He said it, He'll do it! 1 Thessalonians 5:23-4
Where do you find yourself trusting God more in your life?!?
God is faithful, this is His character!
God never walks away from you to fend for yourself.
He is always there for you. God sent His son, Jesus, to die for all the people on the earth.
God is interested in every last detail of you, including the number of hairs on our heads! Praise God!
So when you need some God-Confidence, remember you are not alone.
God is always there for you and He is faithful. Psalm 33:4 says "For the word of the Lord is upright, and all His work is done in faithfulness."
Do you cry out to God for protection???
Whenever you're feeling attacked by the enemy or persecuted by others, cry out to the Lord for help because He heals, protects, and saves!
O Lord my God, I cried to You for help, and You healed me. O Lord, You have brought up my soul from Sheol; You have kept me alive, that I would not go down to the pit (Psalm 30:2-3).
In modern-day language, David would essentially be saying that God healed him and saved his soul from death or the pit of hell.
God saved him from the enemy and eternal condemnation.
God offers this help to us, too!
Root your identity in the unshakeable God that can never be broken down!
You are valuable because you are a child of God.
The abilities you have are fleeting and not eternal.
God will let you walk into uncomfortable situations where all you can do is rely on Him.
Don't be anxious.
He's about to show you He is faithful.
Purpose thrives on believing what’s possible, on dreaming up what can be, and by working passionately in the here and now.
Nowhere in this equation is there room for what was, what didn’t work, and what could have been.
God wants your attention in the present.
He wants you to “look straight ahead” because what He has for you is not behind you, it is in front of you.
God is your Protector, your Provider, your Comforter.
I always have to be reminded to not be afraid, to be discouraged or to be anxious about anything!
Joshua 1:9 says, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid, don't be discouraged, for the LORD, your God, will be with you wherever you go."
Jesus tells us that without Him, we can do nothing.
We can try but our trying will be equal to nothing.
We can try, but our trying will be equal to nothing. nches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me, you can do nothing.""
By faith in Jesus, we can do all things.
John 15:5 says ""Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.""
Who is a true friend to you?
They are a wonderful gift from God!
As Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says, ""Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work; if one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!""
Nothing compares to you, God.
Thank you for your generous grace.
Even when I mess up...
Even when I forget to keep You first in my life...
Even when my heart is not pleasing to You...
Even when my actions do not reflect Your image…
You are still full of grace.
Forgive me, LORD.
My heart is to follow You and live righteously with You.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
God's love is the ultimate picture of sacrificial, unconditional, selfless love.
We are constantly bombarded with false views of love in our society - that it should be self-serving, romantic, or picture-perfect.
Jesus' love actually has painful images associated with it, as He died a brutal death on the cross out of love for all people and to take on their punishment.
His love is not self-serving but entirely sacrificial.
Agape love describes His selfless love for us; we are called to love others selflessly.
It isn't about how others love us. It’s how we love them.
Sometimes, we try to do things that we want to do and just hope that God blesses our plans.
Instead, let's do all things WITH God - seeking Him beforehand and each step of the way.
When we seek Him, He is there and provides according to His will.
You can do anything with God on your side!
You might regret a lot of things throughout your life, but being kind is not one of them!
Kindness is driven by a heart of love, and love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).
At times, our agenda is out of line with God's.
Other times, it is a Godly agenda but differs from God's agenda for you, and His agenda for you is always best and perfect.
He will delay our own plans or shut doors to protect us physically, emotionally, mentally, and/or spiritually.
It is good for us to realize that perceived delays are not always bad and may serve to protect us and guide us forward in His perfect plan.
Have you ever wished things would be different? In this episode of the Women of Faith Show with Alita Reynolds, Haley Scully says “His answer isn’t necessarily what I always want, but He is!” Let’s give glory to God, not necessarily to the answer we wished for.
Friends, let's pray hard together! How can we join you in prayer?
Are there times in your day that you simply don't want to pray?
Maybe you feel like it won't make a difference or you are so far from God that He won't hear you.
These moments, when it is most difficult to pray, are EXACTLY when Jesus wants you to look at His face and cry out to Him in prayer.
Let's be strong and take courage and pray to our LORD and Savior.
He is right there with His ear inclined to you.
He is looking at you, waiting to hear your prayers.
Ok, God. Do you approve of me today?
Did I do what You asked me to do?
God, when You look at your daughter on earth, are You proud of who I am?
Let's get real... these are NOT easy questions to ask God!
Tracey Mitchell and I talked about this topic during our episode together on my Women of Faith Show. We really took a close look at how God approves of us and what this really means in our walk of obedience with Him.
What a perfect picture of worry!
Much of our thinking involves what we say in our heads but never speak aloud.
So, many of our worry patterns are based on common misbeliefs or assumptions that simply are not true.
So, if you want to conquer the worry habit, you must learn to monitor these unspoken voices, silencing them with the truth.
To find freedom from your worry, repeat in your mind these words of Jesus: “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
Have you ever felt rejected?
You need to listen to Tracey Mitchell as I talk with her on my Women of Faith Show with Alita Reynolds.
She says, “Rejection is life’s golden opportunity!”
“Why would you want to drag someone into your future who’s not capable of handling your NOW?”
We always win, with Him first!
We are never last or left empty-handed!
As Matthew 6 says, when we seek God first, we will receive everything we need in His perfect timing.
When you place God first, you will never be last.
She shared with me:
How to think big, dream wildly, and live fear free.
How to handle rejection.
How to be fully equipped for what is set in front of you.
How to know if God approves of you today.
How the Word of God has guided her every step in he life.
Tracey’s genuine bravery shines through in every piece of wisdom she shares with us in this show! She’s resilient. As Tracey says, she has had a rough life, and her life has been a testament to being resilient, with God guiding her all along the way!
“Why would you want to drag someone into your future who’s not capable of handling your NOW? Rejection is life’s golden opportunity!”
Here is one of my favorite, wise thoughts from her!
“How can I allow God to shift me in such a way that when I leave the house, I am fully equipped for what is set in front of me?”
Hear more about her resilience in life because of Jesus being her Guiding Light.
No matter what you have done or what has been done to you, God is so much bigger than your past.
No matter what has happened in your past, turn to face Jesus.
He loves you and wants you to come to Him!!!
The Bible repeatedly reminds us not to be afraid yet so often we fall into the feelings of fear.
God doesn't just recommend we be strong and courageous; He commands us!
It does not matter what is thrown our way, He is ALWAYS with us wherever we go.
If you're facing a Goliath moment right now, or when you do in the future, channel your inner courage and faith that you have through the Holy Spirit and overcome what seems impossible!
Have you gone searching everywhere looking for help?
Looking high and low, looking to the left and to the right, looking for the answers for your life only to end up right back where you started?
The answer you have been looking for is JESUS.
JESUS is your answer. Jesus is your ONLY answer.
When you need something... anything... the answer is Jesus.
We can not make it through this life alone.
Remember this Friend... With Jesus, you have all you need!
