💥MAKE PRAYER YOUR STEERING WHEEL, NOT YOUR SPARE TIRE💥

Hello Beautiful People!

1. ❤🙏 I NEEDED THIS TODAY ❤🙏

The joy of leaving everything in the Lord’s hands is seeing the Lord’s hand in everything. An answer of “no” today, becomes God’s better answer of “yes” tomorrow.

Just as an effective relay racer places the aluminum baton in the hand of their teammate—make a clean exchange with Christ. Hand off all to Jesus—whose hand is on your life—and faithfully run the race of life with the One who gave His life for you.

By faith, leave everything and everyone in the Lord’s hands and begin to look for His hand at work through everything and everyone.

“His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden” (Habakkuk 3:4).

God of the Garden

The Bible in One Year: Psalms 40–42; Acts 27:1–26

Today's Bible Reading: Genesis 3:8–13

Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day. Genesis 3:8

Learn from your yesterdays, but don't live in them. As long as you are too attached to your past, you negate what God wants to do in your future.

🙏🏻Dear God, please help us learn how to avoid the mistakes of our past without dwelling on them so you can prepare us for the pleasures you have planned in our future.

Aren't you glad that your inability to understand is not an accurate measurement of what Your God can do:

"My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts," says the LORD. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. Isaiah 55:8.

Thank You, God, for the numerous and unimaginable ways you promise to come through for us when we make up our minds to believe that Your Word is true!

The key to overcoming self-doubt is to fixate on the faithfulness of Your Savior!

The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm." Exodus 14:14.

When circumstances have you backed into a corner, you can choose not to fear because God is with you, will provide for you, and protect you. (Deut. 31:8; Josh. 1:9) There will never be any trouble, heartache, loss, or suffering that Your God's loving hand cannot bring you through, my sweet friends❣️

🙌💥🔥Our LIFE will always follow in the same direction as our most dominant THOUGHTS.

When we CHANGE the way we THINK, we CHANGE the way we LIVE. Fill your mind today with God's WORD, and watch how your whole WORLD will CHANGE! "Don't be conformed to the pattern of this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING of your MIND..." (Rom.12:2).

2. 💥MAKE PRAYER YOUR STEERING WHEEL, NOT YOUR SPARE TIRE💥

I challenge you to make prayer a priority in your household, in your MARRIAGE, and in your day to day dealings. The enemy has no power over you as long as you have a PRAYER on your tongue. So stay PRAYED UP, don't wait!

💥Pray when things are going good

A quick "Thank You Father" only takes a quick moment of your time.

💥Pray for others in need of prayer

God remembers our prayers for others in our time of need.

💥Pray before making decisions

I can't tell you how many times have made important decisions without taking them to God first... and have regretted every last one of them.

💥Pray when you're burdened

There's no prayer too small and no prayer too big. If it matters to you, it matters to God.

💥Don't wait until you're in trouble, to seek God. Seek God before trouble seeks you.

But the LORD is in his holy Temple; THE LORD STILL RULES from heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on earth. Psalm 11:4 NLT (Emphasis mine.)

When I'm bogged down by the weight of worry, God compassionately reminds me that His power is not diminished by ANY turn of events:

💪🏻"Don't let what you see make you forget what I said."

The fact that David was God's anointed king did not make him immune to frightening circumstances and seemingly insurmountable obstacles. But, through it all, David remained confident and optimistic because he knew his God was BIGGER than ANY giant he could EVER face.

Friends, let's start this week with this reminder:

👉🏻No matter what we see or don't see with our limited human perspective, our loving heavenly Father still sits upon His throne; EVERYTHING under heaven is UNDER HIS CONTROL❣️

If wisdom comes with age, why was it so much easier to make decisions in my 20s? Lord knows enough years have passed that my head should be full of knowledge by now, so why am I making things harder than they need to be? After pondering this question, three reasons came to mind:

👉🏻1) The pain and consequences of past decisions cause me to doubt my ability to make wise choices,
👉🏻2) What feels right to me is often contrary to the opinions of those around me, and
👉🏻3) What will others think about me if I'm wrong?

Wow, I see a common theme here - fear.

Sometimes we have to get thoughts out of our heads and into the light before we can see the fault line in our thinking that keeps us from acting on faith. Then we can look to God's Word to dispel the negative emotions and behaviors that control us.

Here are a few Scriptures I rely on when I need help choosing God's path when I come to a fork in the road:

💪🏻Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Ps. 119:105
💪🏻The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Ps. 37:23
💪🏻I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. Isa. 48:17
💪🏻The LORD says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Ps. 32:8
💪🏻We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps. Prov. 16:9

Save this post as a reminder that it's not the number of years we accumulate that brings us wisdom; it's the amount of God's Truth we know and rely upon that enables us to make decisions confidently.

3. When God asked what they’d done

Adam and Eve engaged in a lot of blame-shifting. Despite their denial, God didn’t leave them there. He “made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them” (v. 21), a sacrifice that hinted at the death Jesus would endure to cover our sins.

God didn’t give us a way back to Eden. He gave us a way forward into restored relationship with Him. We can’t return to the garden. But we can return to the God of the garden.

Many years ago, Joni Mitchell wrote a song called “Woodstock” in which she saw the human race trapped in a “bargain” with the devil. Urging her listeners to seek a simpler, more peaceful existence, she sang of a return to “the garden.” Mitchell spoke for a generation longing for purpose and meaning.

Mitchell’s poetical “garden” is Eden, of course. Eden was the paradise God created for us back in the beginning. In this garden, Adam and Eve met with God on a regular basis—until the day they made their bargain with the devil (see Genesis 3:6–7). That day was different. “Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden” (v. 8).

—TIM GUSTAFSON

What stands between you and God today? What might you confess to Him in order to walk in “the cool of the day” with Him?

Father, help me not to blame others for my own faults and failures. Thank You that honesty with You means relationship with You.

If living a life that testifies to our faith in Jesus was supposed to be easy, He'd never used the words overcomer or conquerer to describe His followers. Not only does He offer us encouragement through Scripture, but He also shows us how to overcome obstacles with peace. Listen to what Jesus said to His Father, just before His arrest:

Jesus looked up to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so he can give glory back to you....Now, Father, bring me into the glory we shared before the world began. (John 17:1, 5 NLT Jesus' Farewell discourse)

Jesus knew exactly what was about to happen to Him, yet He looks past the Cross He'll soon bear, and grabs hold of the promise of glory afterward. God's Word is filled with promises for strength and courage no matter what earthly situation we may encounter. I think we sometimes fail to rest in those promises because we believe they're contingent on the strength of our faith rather than the omnipotent power of our God.

Friends, the next time the enemy puts a giant in our path, let's refuse to look inward and look Godward instead...

"Here, Jesus. I'm bringing my problem to you because I KNOW you have the answer. I trust You to show me what to do and to take care of the consequences!"

Balak was the ruler of Moab. When he heard how Israel had defeated the Amorites, he feared Israel would attack his nation too. So, he hired Balaam to curse Israel. Balaam, however, spoke three blessings over Israel (Numbers 22:1–6).
4. Two parts of these blessings have similar wording

The first part employs the third person pronoun, “they” (Num 23:22–24). In contrast, the second part is singular: “he” (Num 24:8–9). This shift suggests that, the second time, Balaam is talking about one Israelite in particular—the Messiah. The similarities show how Israel’s national experience would foreshadow the Messiah’s future experience. Here are three examples:
🔷 God brought Israel out of Egypt (Num 23:22). Likewise, Yeshua spent part of His childhood in Egypt to avoid Herod’s attempt to murder Him (Matthew 2:13–21). Yeshua, in a way, reenacted Israel’s experience. Back in Genesis, Jacob’s family went to Egypt to escape the famine in Canaan (Gen 42:1–3, 46). Yeshua fled to Egypt for safety and then returned to the land of Israel when possible.
🔷 Balaam compared Israel to a lion (Num 23:24). He later referred to a single Israelite as a lion (Num 24:9; also Genesis 49:9). When it was time for the Israelites to possess the land, God gave them dramatic victories like that at Jericho (Joshua 6). One of the key characteristics of the Messiah, according to the Hebrew Scriptures, is that He would deliver Israel from their enemies, which Yeshua will do when He returns (Revelation 17:14).
🔷 Israel is blessed (Num 23:23). Balaam also said that whoever blesses this future Israelite would be blessed, and whoever curses Him will be cursed (Num 24:9). The nation of Israel is the conduit of God’s blessing to the world (Genesis 12:3). By trusting in Yeshua, people from every nation receive the greatest blessing of all—friendship with God. Therefore, let us come to Him.
Zelophehad died without any sons. His daughters came to Moses to ask for their father’s inheritance. After speaking with God, Moses granted their request and ruled that if someone had no sons, his daughter would receive the inheritance (Numbers 27:1–8). Here are three reasons why this account is significant:

🔷 These women are examples of faith. Their father died in the wilderness, meaning he did not own land. His daughters so trusted God to provide what He had promised that they asked for their inheritance knowing they would not immediately take possession of it. These women fully counted on receiving what God had promised, though they did not see it yet (Hebrews 11:1).

🔷 This account highlights the concern for land in Scripture. Lack of male heirs posed a threat to land possession, since inheritance was generally reserved for men. Allowing women and other relatives to inherit land on their family’s behalf ensured that a lack of male heirs would not put Israel’s land ownership in jeopardy. On a deeper level, the story of Zelophehad’s daughters affirms that nothing can stand in the way of God’s promises.

🔷 The passage reflects the hope of the next generation. All the Israelites who came from Egypt as adults (except Joshua and Caleb) died in the wilderness for their lack of faith (Numbers 14:28–38). Zelophehad’s daughters either were born in the desert or left Egypt at a young age. These women and their trust in God’s promises demonstrate that their parents’ generation was not the end of the story. God disciplined the Israelites, but He did not reject them. These daughters are a model of faith for future generations of Israel.

In summary, this account reminds us that God is committed and able to accomplish everything He says. No obstacle can hinder God’s purposes (Romans 8:38–39). Let us, like Zelophehad’s daughters, trust that God will follow through on what He has promised.

As a Christian you'll have good days, and you'll have bad days, but you will NEVER have a day without Jesus!

I'm so thankful that no person, thing,or circumstance can EVER separate us from our sweet King Jesus.

For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

Jeremiah 29:11 is a passage of Scripture that I clung to during separation and divorce. As I sought solace in God's Word, I felt Him leading me to read and pray over the two verses following this well-known passage:

In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. Jeremiah 29:12-13.

It's easy to forget that we have a role in the process of healing. We pray, cry, and beg, but we aren't always seeking God wholeheartedly if we're honest. We want Him to fix our situation and remove our pain MORE than the comfort of His presence and the life-giving power of His Word. That's painful to admit, isn't it?

The proper context of verse 11 reveals the answer to our healing - wholehearted commitment to Jesus leads to worship and obedience in our daily walk. In other words, we're always near enough to receive His comfort and often perfectly positioned for Him to reverse our circumstances. (Jeremiah 29:12-14)

The pathway to God's good plan for us, our family, and our future begins with wholeheartedly seeking Him! No matter our suffering, God sees us, He feels our pain, but He also sees the path ahead. If we don't see Him moving, maybe we're the holdup to our healing.

Lord, please open my eyes to see You, my ears to hear You, and make my heart receptive and obedient to all You want to say to me today. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen

Drop a  🙏🏻 in the comment to show you BELIEVE God has a plan for your future, and it's GOOD - no matter what your circumstances look like today!

5. There is a false boldness for Christ that only comes from pride

“ A man may rashly expose himself to the world’s dislike and even deliberately provoke its displeasure, and yet do so out of pride… True boldness for Christ transcends all; it is indifferent to the displeasure of either friends or foes. Boldness enables Christians to forsake all rather than Christ, and to prefer to offend all rather than to offend Him.”-Jonathan Edwards

“The badge of courage does not require that we walk through something dangerous. It simply requires that we continue to share God’s love whenever and wherever we are.”-Tom White

No one can cancel what God called.🙌😭🙏

Someone needs a reminder... The battle belongs to God, not you.. I pray that the Most High God continues to bless and cover you. 🥰🥰🥰

The battle is already won. The battle is already won. The battle is already won. Hallelujah! Thank You Father for never leaving me. Thank You for giving me back all that the enemy stole... Hallelujah!! THE BATTLE IS ALREADY WON!!!!! .

God said 'It is already done'. . "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from Me," declares the Lord." Is. 54:17.

Are you covered by the Blood?

It's the Blood that gives us strength from day to day!!! It will never lose its power!!!

Jesus, I thank you for the Blood that was shed for me, for us all.

It's in the Blood!!

Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Do you know that Jesus wants to be more than your Savior; He yearns to be your friend? Scratch that - He wants to be your BEST friend! He not only declares His intentions but proves how far He's willing to go to prove that they're true:

There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn't confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me. John 15: 13-15 NLT

Jesus is the best friend we could ever have. He loves us just the way we are - He knows everything about us and still accepts us completely.

We see how far Jesus is willing to go to be friends with us, but what part do we play in this friendship? How do we show our desire to be friends with Him? He tells us in the passages above that obedience to His Word is the answer.

Friend, do you realize that Jesus shares EVERY secret His Father has ever given to Him through the pages of Scripture? He wants to share them with you as you spend time with Him - have you taken Him up on His offer?

Friend, no matter what your feelings say, joy is ALWAYS available through your relationship with Jesus:

These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. (John 15:11)

This verse from John's Gospel packs three valuable lessons for us about joy:

👉🏻Our joy is secure because it is Jesus' joy we rely upon, not ours, per the pronoun in front of joy, "My."
👉🏻Jesus' joy sustains us through the highs and lows of life, saving us from the roller-coaster ride of moods shifting between joy and discontentment.
👉🏻Jesus qualifies the abundance of His joy and reiterates His desire for our joy tanks to be forever full.

Joy is internal stability, a settled assurance, and quiet confidence in God's sovereignty that promotes a posture of praise; it's available through a constant connection to the Word, both the Person and the print.

When a Christian's life lacks joy, that's a signal that something's off-kilter. Either we're walking outside God's will in disobedience or neglecting our relationship with the Word. If you're feeling empty today, ask yourself this question:

6. What am I trying to put in the place that Jesus alone can fill?

🙏🏻Lord, may we never take for granted the immeasurable sacrifice You made so that we could experience the joy and privilege of new life in Christ❣️

When we're waiting for God to come through for us, a minute can sometimes feel like 1,000 years. Staying rooted in the truth of His Word prevents discouragement and helps us keep our eyes fixed on Christ.

3 Truths to ponder when you're in a season of waiting:

👉🏻1. But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day 2 Peter 3:8.

👉🏻2. We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps. Proverbs 16:9.

👉🏻3. For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1.

Do you have a favorite Bible verse that you pray in your “in-the-meantime” seasons? Please share in the comments so we can be encouraged too!💕

Do you ever wonder why some people seem closer to Jesus than others? You know, that friend who, no matter what obstacles come her way, her words AND actions show she believes God's promises are true.

Chances are, that friend invests quality time in God's Word, cultivating her relationship with Jesus. An earnest desire motivated by love propels her toward her Savior and increases her readiness to hear and believe.

The apostle Paul gives us a biblical example of what it looks like to develop a lifelong habit of pursuing Jesus. His personal experience made him yearn for more, and he'd walk through the fires of adversity to prove it. Through it all, he learned the Lord's touch and impact on our lives is most profound in our deepest pain.

I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death," (Philippians 3:10)

As much as we wish it weren't true, the only way to get where we want to be with Jesus is to walk through things we couldn't survive without Him. Every time we resist bowing to our emotions and lean in closer instead of running away, we make heavenly strides in our relationship with the Lord.

"God is not satisfied until there exists between Him and His people a relaxed informality that requires no artificial stimulation. The true friend of God may sit in His presence for long periods of silence. Complete trust needs no words of assurance." A.W. Tozer

Friends, getting up close and personal with Jesus is why we live and breathe. Intimacy with Him is our guaranteed prescription for peace and contentment in life that our circumstances cannot sway. Relationship, not religion: every person longs for it; the question is, what are YOU going to do about it?

👉🏻What is your biggest struggle in the quest to draw closer to Jesus?
👉🏻How can you take a step closer to Him today?

7. How many spiritual battles do you lose to the devil each day

Because you dismiss him as a personal threat? I ask because I'm becoming increasingly aware of how he uses offense as bait to bring conflict into my life. Although his tactics vary, his purpose is always the same - to steal my joy and fellowship with family, friends, and God.

Friends, we cannot dismiss the devil as merely a symbol or a legend; he's alive and powerful. His puffed-up pride led him to rebel against God, who he sees as his enemy. He's constantly trying to hinder God's work and derail us from our divine purpose in life. We'll hand him victory on a silver platter by acting on his deception rather than rejecting it if we don't get out of our heads and get into God's Word!

Revelation 12 tells us Satan "deceives the whole world" and that he is an accuser of believers, accusing them day and night. (v 9-10). Take note of this strong warning from the apostle, Peter:

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. So resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brothers and sisters who are in the world. (1 Peter 5:8-9 NASB)

Did you hear that - satan ACTIVELY looks for people to attack with confusion, doubt, and condemnation! He studies our weaknesses and targets us when we're vulnerable in our faith, spiritually weak, or isolated from other believers. We cannot let our guard down even when things are going well!💪🏻

Guaranteed victory over every earthly circumstance belongs to those who read, believe, and meditate on the holy contents of God's Truth treasure chest. Even more priceless, the Bible's Author promises to meet us between the pages and lovingly guide us along the best pathway for our lives💕

Friend, I cannot think of ANYTHING else I'd want more than to know my God walks with me every minute of every day and shows me where to place my next step while on this earthly journey.

👉🏻What about you? How much peace would you have in your life if you feasted on God's Word and meditated on His promises as part of your daily routine?🤔

Why do we waste so much time trying to be, say and do what others want before remembering who we are? As temporary residents, we weren't created to fit in. Therefore, non-Christians should be viewing us as a little strange because we're seeking to conform to God's standards and not this world's.

After 40+ years, I finally understand how my internal struggle to please other people robbed me of a joy-filled life that's my birthright as a believer in Christ. NO MORE; I'm done with that and happy to let the world see that I'm okay with strange because chasing Jesus 100% satisfies me!🙋🏼‍♀️

I wonder how many others like me forsake their relationship with God because they allow someone else's "truth" about God to be the foundation for what they believe about Him. I've learned that I could have saved myself a lot of pain if I'd made an effort earlier in life to open my Bible and get to know God through personal experience and what He says about Himself.

Friend, I pray you won't make the same mistake. Your going to come across many people claiming to know the truth about God, and some will go so far as to try to make you doubt that God's Word is even true. Look at it this way, if the Bible is wrong, the only thing we risk losing is man's approval. BUT, if Jesus was telling the truth when He said,

👉🏻"Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth."(John 17:17)

Not good, not good at all, my friend. Never, ever rely on someone else's thoughts of Scripture, or you could find yourself living with an eternal reminder that you didn't need a translator - you needed a Savior.

The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. James 5:16.

James 5:16 bursts with promise until I get to the word righteous, which conjures up an image of perfection - a state that I'm keenly aware that I am NOT despite my earnest efforts.

Thankfully, God doesn't expect perfection, nor is it in context with this passage. The Hebrew word translated as righteous refers to those who have conditioned their lives by a standard that is not theirs but God's.

👉🏻A righteous woman is in right standing with God, not because of her efforts but because she respects God's authority over her life, and it shows. Not just in the way she lives her life but also in her personal and private prayer life.

👉🏻A righteous woman's earnest prayers move mountains because they reflect a spirit of humility, distrust in her abilities, and confident hope and expectation in the goodness and grace of her God. It's saying, "Lord, I can't, but you can!" trusting that God can and will answer her prayers in the way that He knows is best.

Friend, your God feels that burden on your heart, and He wants you to know that it's not supposed to live there. Surrender it to the Lord in prayer and leave it there. Ask Him to lead you in His way, and teach you how to trust and abide in His Word so He can be your Burden-bearer and Mountain mover.

8. Walking by faith involves our feet, not our feelings

It's acting like we believe God is telling the truth, even when what we see doesn't align with what He's telling us.

Do you want to learn to walk by faith? Pick up your Bible and start reading it so you can get to know who God is and how much He loves you. You can start by praying this prayer:

God, help me learn to trust Your heart when I cannot see Your hand in my circumstances. Please help me learn to make walking in obedience to Your Word a way of life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

If people had full access to the contents of your heart, all day, every day, would it change the way they feel about you? Pretty unsettling thought, isn't it.🤔

Sometimes we don't let people get close because we fear they'll discover something they don't like, including God. What a shame since His love is the only one vast enough to sweep past the frailties and inconsistencies of the human heart.

O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. Psalm 139:1 NLT

In Psalm 139, David shows us that we don't have to slink away in shame at the thought of God knowing what lies in the depths of our hearts. He takes what he knows and makes it personal and relational. (v. 1-5)

👉🏻God knows me inside out.
👉🏻He searches and anticipates my thoughts.
👉🏻Nothing escapes God's "omniscience" (ability to know ALL things).

Now watch how David turns textbook theology into an expression of gratitude for God's intimate involvement in his life:

👉🏻"Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!" (v. 6)

👉🏻"How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!" (v. 17)

Oh, how sweet life can be when we stop resisting and surrender to the mind-boggling truth about God's love. Like David, when we do, we'll be too overwhelmed to do anything else but worship Him!

Few things in this world speak to my heart like music, especially worship music. When life's circumstances threaten to steal my joy, and I can't muster up the gumption to pray, worshiping can lift me up when I'm down.

Contemporary Christian music is my go-to; however, there's something powerful about the hymns I heard during my childhood years. Louise Stead wrote, "Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus," one of my favorites, while mourning a personal tragedy.

From the sunny beach at the Long Island shore, Louise and her four-year-old daughter watched her husband drown while attempting to save a struggling boy from the sea. It was her struggles with "why?" that drove her straight into the arms of Jesus. May her loss remind us that there's only one source for hope while on this side of heaven, trusting in the person and promise of our sweet King Jesus!

Trust in Jesus
'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His Word
Just to rest upon His promise,
Just to know, "Thus saith the Lord!"
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I've proved Him o'er and o'er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh, for grace to trust Him more!
I'm so glad I learned to trust Him,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend
And I know that He is with me,
Will be with me to the end.
Oh, how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood
And in simple faith to plunge me
'Neath the healing, cleansing flood!
Yes, 'tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life and rest, and joy and peace.
