Listen to Me my Child

1. LORD OF MY FINANCES

:::::
“Honor the LORD with your wealth and the best part of everything you produce.” Proverbs 3:9

It’s easy to say Jesus is LORD, but when we allow Him to be LORD over every single aspect of our lives—including our finances, then we really learn how to trust Him. When times are tough and you feel financially strapped, it’s still important to honor God and tithe.

And when we choose to financially give to the LORD, we can be reminded that God will take care of us, for Malachi 3:10 mentions, “Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”

It’s tempting to not allow God into this aspect of our lives, but it’s important to remember He’s in control and has our best interest at heart, for He is good!

I love what Hebrews 13:5 says: “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” ๐Ÿ™

Be encouraged, friends! May we be content in the LORD!

2. LORD OF MY CIRCUMSTANCES
:::::
It’s important to come to the realization that life is never really going to satisfy us for the long haul; only Jesus can truly satisfy.

Yes, Jesus IS LORD, but when we allow Christ to be LORD of our life—our circumstances, then no matter what the world throws our way, we won’t really be shaken, because Jesus is our stronghold.

“I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken.” —Psalm 62:1-2

Ask the LORD for help on this! His promises ring true… He will help you! Do you believe this?

JESUS IS LORD
::::
“If you openly declare that Jesus is LORD and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
::
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
::
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

OUR CONFIDENCE
:::::
“Do not fear sudden danger or the ruin that overtakes the wicked,
for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from the snare.”
—Proverbs 3:25-26
:::
Through the fire and the flood and all the calamity and temptations of this world, Jesus remains! Put your faith and confidence in Christ the LORD! He is the one who keeps you.
Romans 10:9 says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” ๐Ÿ™Œ

OUR LIGHT AND SALVATION
:::::
When you are faced with the crashing fears and anxieties of this world, remember the Lord is your stronghold; and when the darkness of temptations creep in, remember that Christ is your light… so let the light in! Memorize this verse and post it as a reminder to help you combat the troubling times in life:

“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1

Be confident in Christ! And be encouraged… Christ is our strength!

OUR HIDING PLACE
:::::
“You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.”
Psalm 32:7
:::
Not sure who needs to hear this, but whatever heap of trouble surrounds you, remember to tell your mountain about our Savior! Jesus is indeed our protector, our place of refuge in times of trouble! Psalm 46:1 mentions “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

Do you believe this? Be encouraged friends!

3. GOD’S LIGHT

:::::
Jesus, the light of the world shines upon us, so let’s walk in His light every day!
“The LORD is God, and He has made His light shine on us.” Psalm 118:27a

HIS LIGHT SHINES
:::::
“The LORD is God, and He has made His light shine on us.”
Psalm 118:27a
:
I love this verse because it reminds us that no matter what dark times we may walk through, God’s light is there, shining upon us and within us. For Jesus—our God and Savior, is the light of the world! (John 8:12)
:
2 Corinthians 4:6 says: “For God, who said, ‘Let there be light in the darkness,’ has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.”
:
May we walk all of our days in His light… KNOWING and LOVING and LIVING in Him! Amen?!

GOD’S LOVE POURED OUT
:::::
I love Psalm 42:8 because it reminds us that each day, no matter what, we are greatly loved by God. And Romans 8:28 says:
“But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” Now that’s something to sing about! ๐Ÿ™Œ

GOD’S LOVE
:::::
God’s deep love for us never stops; like ocean waves that crash over with an unending fury, His love for us is unrelenting… it isn’t dependent upon our behavior; His love continues still. The love of our LORD washes over us… to those deep places within us that need it the most.

God sees you fam, and you are loved. Talk to Him.

Psalm 42:7 says, “Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me.” NIV
Psalm 42:8 “But each day the LORD pours His unfailingly love upon me, and through each night I sing His songs, praying to God who gives me life.” NLT

All praise and honor to Him! ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ™

4. SPEAK LIFE
:::::
Words are free. It’s how you use them, that may cost. It’s true fam… OUR WORDS MATTER! Proverbs 16:24 reminds us, “Kind words are like honey— sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.” What a beautiful truth, friends! Let’s wield our words wisely! Let’s build each other up with encouragement.
:::::
Had the amazing opportunity to create this week’s

WITH GOD
:::::
Whatever uncertainties lie on the horizon ahead, remember to trust God.

Luke 1:37 reminds us, “For nothing will be impossible with God.” And Matthew 19:26 says, “Jesus looked at them intently and said, ‘Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.’”

Do you believe this? Be encouraged friends! Have faith!

HE CARRIED IT ALL
:::::
Thank you, Jesus.♥️

“He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.

Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins!

But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.

All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all.”
Isaiah 53:4-6

WALK IN THE LIGHT
:::::
“This is the message we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all.
If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.”
1 John 1:5-7
:::
These verses right here๐Ÿ™
Lord help us walk in YOUR light all the days of our lives!

NOT BY SIGHT
:::::
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”- 2 Corinthians 5:7
Keeping walking in faith fam!

WALK BY FAITH
:::::
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
2 Corinthians 5:7
:::
No matter what your future holds, trust that God goes before you. Ask for His guidance, and take the next step in faith. I love how Corrie Ten Boom put it: “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.” Amen!

I hope this encourages you today, friends! Let me know how I can pray with you.

5. MY HEART HAS HEARD YOU SAY

::::
“My heart has heard you say, ‘Come and talk with me.’ And my heart responds, ‘LORD, I am coming.’” Psalm 27:8
::::
Listen carefully… the Lord is always calling you to come to Him; He pleads with us to turn back to Him; He desires our repentant heart.

Psalm 51:16-17 reminds us, “You do not desire a sacrifice, or I would offer one. You do not want a burnt offering.
The sacrifice You desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.”

Go talk to Jesus fam. You are greatly loved!

FIXED
:::::
Keep those thoughts fixed the LORD, not on your worries, fam. He’ll do the rest. ๐Ÿ˜‰✌️

“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You.”
Isaiah 26:3

PERFECT PEACE
:::::
“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You.” Isaiah 26:3

I love this verse because it reminds me that no matter what life throws our way, we don’t have to give in to worry. Jesus offers us something the world can never offer: perfect peace in Him. Jesus said in John 14:27, “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

Choose to trust the LORD with your circumstances, fixing your thoughts on Him, instead of worrying about all the chaos. He’s got this and He’s got you!

Do you trust Him? Share this with someone who could use some encouragement today.

FOREVER GRATEFUL
:::::
This Memorial Day weekend, we honor those who paid a great sacrifice for our country. For those who serve our country today, we thank you. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
:
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
John 15:13

ONE
:::::
“Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.”
Ephesians 4:3-4
::::
May we live this out in our daily lives! May we as brothers and sisters in Christ work diligently to maintain peace, always showing kindness and mercy to one another. All for His glory! ๐Ÿ™

TWO
:::::
“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” -Jesus (Matthew 18:20)

It’s evident by Christ’s words alone that there is power in community and there is power in prayer.

The world can be a lonely place, so reach out to someone. Invite them to church/small group/Bible study. Ask the Lord to guide you; He’ll show you that person to reach out to and connect with. Always include people. And if people don’t include you, ask the Lord for His direction, and reach out to your local church. Get connected. Life is too short to worry about what people think of you. Community in Christ is the place to be!

THREE
:::::
We are not meant to do life alone; God intended for us to be in community with one another, to help encourage and build each other up in faith, and to spur one another on toward love and good deeds. (Ephesians 4:29; Hebrews 10:24-25).

Plus, as Ecclesiastes 4:12 mentions, there’s practical reasons why we’re better together too:

“A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.”

6. GOD IS MY STRENGTH

:::::

“The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust Him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.”
Psalm 28:7
:::
Thank you Jesus! Through thick and thin, HE is our strength, our shield and our joy! I love this verse because it reminds us how to respond to the chaos of life: Remember where your strength comes from, and SING to Him and BE THANKFUL.

Would love to know your go-to worship songs in the chat below! God bless you, friends! God is our strength and our song! Amen?!๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ™Œ

GOD IS MY REFUGE
:::::
“This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him.”
Psalm 91:2
:::
I love this verse because it reminds me that when I feel overwhelmed or afraid, I can run TO God and not away from Him.

Friend, whatever you’re going through right now, don’t hide from the LORD; instead go to Him with all of your cares, shame, past hurts and worries. Christ is your place of safety! Trust Him! ๐Ÿฐ

GOD IS MY HELP
:::::
When the world feels too heavy and life has you down, remember this verse:

“Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.” Psalm 54:4

God will help you, friend. Do you believe this? Romans 15:13 says, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him.” This is my prayer for you today!

START LIVING RIGHT
:::::
“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
1 Peter 2:24
:::

Life is too short to live without purpose. Christ Himself died for us so that we can die to sin and start living right… and with purpose.

Ask the Lord to show you the areas in your life where you need to let go of something and start living for Christ. Walk in HIS truth and in obedience to Him, because Christ is the way the truth and the life, (John 14:6) and it’s an abundant life worth living in Him! Through good times and bad, adventure in Christ awaits! ๐Ÿ™Œ

7. JUST STAY CALM

:::::
“The LORD Himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” Exodus 14:14

I love this story in Exodus 14 where the Israelites are being chased down by Pharaoh’s army. Though the people saw God do miraculous things when He brought them out of Egypt, they still panicked when they saw the Egyptians coming after them (Exodus 14:10). But in their fear when they doubted God, Moses reminded them to not be afraid and to trust in the salvation of the LORD. You see, Moses believed God at His word, and then encouraged his people to do the same.
It’s easy to get caught up in our daily fears and worries and what-ifs, but let’s remember that God has everything under control. Praise Him through the storm because this is how we fight our battles. Be still, and be faithful. God is good fam, and He is mighty to save!

Do you believe this? Share this with a friend who needs encouragement today.

DON’T BE AFRAID
:::::
Not sure who needs to hear this, but I think this is great reminder for all of us: the LORD is with us always, fam.
He makes a way for us and guides us through life when we seek Him, so keep your chin up and your eyes on Christ!

“The LORD Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8

CONFIDENCE
:::::
“In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.” Ephesians 3:12
:::
No matter your past, your mistakes, your shame or regret, you are forgiven and free in Christ, so you can go boldly and confidently to God the Father. If you’ve accepted Christ as your Savior, you are welcomed as a child of God!

Ephesians 2:9-10 reminds us, “Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.”

So friend, be encouraged today! Live in His confident freedom… you were made for more! Walk with Him daily, for adventure in Christ awaits! And yea, that means good times and bad, but you won’t walk alone.๐Ÿ™

VICTORY
:::::
“For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power.
But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:56-57
:::
You have the power over sin in your life, fam. Choose to be victorious in Christ and live a life worthy of your calling! Matthew 3:8 reminds us to “Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God.”

An abundant life in Christ is so worth it friend! Whatever your past, turn to Him and live! Adventure in Christ awaits! ✌️

8. ALIVE WITH CHRIST

:::::
“But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.” Ephesians 2:4-5
::
Easter is over, but adventure awaits in Christ! No matter your past, Jesus is your future! Mountains high and valleys low, the LORD promises us that He’ll never leave us; good times and bad times alike, Jesus is by your side.

Choose to be faithful fam! You are ALIVE and you are not alone! Be encouraged!

HE IS ALIVE!
:::::
Happy Resurrection Sunday, fam… He is Risen indeed!
:::
“He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen.”
Matthew 28:6a

Thank you Jesus! Our Savior has conquered the grave! And not only has He risen after he died for our sins, He lives forever more! All praise and honor to Jesus our Savior King!

“I am the Living One. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.”
Revelation 1:18

HE GAVE HIS LIFE FOR US
:::::
“When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. 7 Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. 8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”
Romans 5:6-8 NLT
::
It’s a Good Friday indeed, fam! To Christ be all honor and praise! Hallelujah to our LORD and SAVIOR! ✝️

THE PERFECT SACRIFICE
:::::
“Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.”
Hebrews 9:14
::
The book of Hebrews is by far one of my favorite books in the Bible. If you haven’t read through it yet, do so. It lays out how Jesus was there from the beginning and serves as our High Priest and King… it’s by His blood alone that we are made right with God the Father.

Hebrews 10:14 goes on to say, “For by that one offering He forever made perfect those who are being made holy.” That’s right fam, though we are not perfect yet, we will be when we meet Him face to face one day BECAUSE of Christ’s perfect sacrifice on our behalf. What a Savior King! ๐Ÿ™✝️

Whatever mess you’ve been dealing with, don’t live in shame. Turn from your sin and seek the One who seeks you daily! Tag a friend who needs to hear this! ♥️♥️♥️

HE CAME FOR US ๐ŸŒฟ
:::::
“And you know that Jesus came to take away our sins, and there is no sin in Him.” 1 John 3:5

Holy Week kicks off this week. As I reflect on why Jesus came, it blows my mind that, though He was perfect, He came to save imperfect and unworthy people. We don’t deserve this, but by His amazing grace we are saved. What a Savior King! ๐ŸŒฟ

“They took palm branches and went out to meet him shouting, ‘Hosanna!’ Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’ ‘Blessed is the king of Israel!’”
John 12:13

BLESSED BY GOD
:::::
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” James 1:12
:::
We all go through trials in this life, but remember that Jesus has already overcome the world; you are not alone! Keep your head up and stay the course; don’t lose heart and don’t lose faith, fam! God sees you, and He will bless you! He is your strength and your reward! ๐Ÿ‘‘

SAVED BY GOD
:::::
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.” John 3:16-17

We could never be good enough to earn God’s love. We’re not perfect, but by the beautiful grace of God we have salvation through Christ (Ephesians 2:8). What a gift and what a Savior!

Tag a friend who needs to hear this truth today. God bless you all, friends!

SEEN BY GOD
:::::
“The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.” 2 Chronicles 16:9a
:::::
I love this verse because it reminds me that God sees me, even when others do not. It encourages my heart to seek His approval, and not the approval of people (Galatians 1:10); it reminds me that God is my strength and my shield (Psalm 28:7).

Friends, you are seen by God, and you are loved. Even if your life is a mess right now, stop and call out to Christ… seek the One who seeks you! The best is yet to come! ๐Ÿ™

EMPOWERED BY GOD
:::::
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
2 Timothy 1:7
:::::
If you’ve accepted Christ, then the Holy Spirit lives in you. And the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world! (1 John 4:4).

Through Christ, you have the POWER to not live in fear of the unknown; through Christ you have the POWER to love the unloveable and to be kind even when others are not; you have the POWER to forgive and offer grace and mercy to people; through Christ you have the POWER to turn from sin and live in self-control.

No excuses fam. The same POWER that raised Christ from the dead NOW LIVES IN YOU. (Romans 8:11) You’ve GOT THE POWER… so live fearless, love well, and walk in HIS WAYS. You’re empowered by God! All for His glory! ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ•Š

SOUGHT BY GOD
:::::
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10
:::::
This verse cuts DEEP to the core of the heart of God; this is true love, fam. God loves us SO much, that He gave His one and only Son for us. (John 3:16) Do you believe this?

Jesus is SEEKING you even now! It’s my prayer today that if you read this, you would turn to Christ and give your life to Him. “As it is said, ‘Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.’” Hebrews 3:15
Much love, friend. You are greatly loved.๐Ÿ™

REDEEMED BY GOD
:::::
“I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.”
Isaiah 44:22
:::::
I love the LORD. Even though we mess up and often want anything BUT Him, He still pleads for us to return to Him. Christ is THE way, THE truth and THE life. Friend, no matter your past, I pray you accept Christ as your future.

You are loved, and you are REDEEMED by the death and resurrection of Jesus. Turn to HIM and live an abundant life in the Lord! ๐Ÿ™☁️๐Ÿ™Œ

VALUED BY GOD
:::::
“And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.”
:::::
Life is so crazy, fam. It’s easy to give way to thoughts of despair, anxiety and worry. But when those thoughts come, remember what our Lord says: DO NOT BE AFRAID. Don’t fear—for HE IS NEAR! God provides. Will you trust Him, even with the uncertainties of life? Be strong in Him friend, YOU ARE VALUED!♥️๐Ÿชถ

LOVED BY GOD
:::::
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Life is filled with ups and downs. We’re not perfect, but because of God’s great love for us, we ought to want to do right by Him. So if you mess up, go to Him in repentance and ask for His help. Philippians 4:13 reminds us that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. You’re greatly loved fam! Life with Christ is worth living! ๐ŸคŸ

CHILD OF GOD
:::::
Not sure who needs to hear this right now, but you’ll never be perfect until you see Jesus face-to-face. In the meantime, if you put your faith in Christ, rest assured that you are counted as sons and daughters of God.

Don’t worry if you mess up; instead, repent and keep pressing on… you are greatly LOVED by God! ๐ŸคŸ

“For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:26

9. PRAISE GOD—HE IS WITH US!

::::
“We thank You, O God! We give thanks because You are near. People everywhere tell of Your wonderful deeds.” Psalm 75:1

GOD IS NEAR
:::::
“We thank You, O God! We give thanks because You are near. People everywhere tell of Your wonderful deeds.
God says, ‘At the time I have planned, I will bring justice against the wicked. When the earth quakes and its people live in turmoil, I am the one who keeps its foundations firm.’” Psalm 75:1-2
:::::
I pray you take comfort in this Scripture as I do; don’t worry about all the chaos and sadness in this world, fam… The LORD has EVERYTHING under control. So trade your worries for worship, and thank Him, for HE IS ALWAYS NEAR. Trust Him, friends. He’s got this. ๐Ÿ™

EVEN THOUGH
:::::
Psalm 23 is the first Scripture I ever memorized. I’m not great at memorizing, but this Psalm is forever on my heart. It reminds me that our Lord is always there with us, even when we walk through difficult or scary times. What a Savior! I pray You feel His peace and comfort today. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‘

The LORD is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
2 He lets me rest in green meadows;
he leads me beside peaceful streams.
3 He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,
bringing honor to his name.
4 Even when I walk
through the darkest valley,a
I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
protect and comfort me.
5 You prepare a feast for me
in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
My cup overflows with blessings.
6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
all the days of my life,
and I will live in the house of the LORD
forever.

ZEAL
:::::
“Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.” Romans 12:11

You have made
My Heart Your Home
Loved me with a Perfect Love
Still I Wander, still I Roam
God help me Burn for You
Till I’m really Truly wholly Yours
::::
I think it’s easy to get discouraged in this world, but let’s remember God’s great love for us. WE are His house; may we be filled with zeal and love for Him like none other. He is faithful, even when we are not (2 Timothy 2:13).
If you’re struggling today, ask the Lord for His help… May He always be our only treasure. ♥️๐Ÿ™

BE PERSISTENT ๐Ÿ™
:::::
“Never stop praying, especially for others. Always pray by the power of the Spirit. Stay alert and keep praying for God's people.” Ephesians 6:18 CEV

Heavy heart for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine; we won’t stop praying!

Prayer is powerful.

I love the story in 2 Chronicles 20 when King Jehoshaphat and the community of Judah and Jerusalem are surrounded by warring nations. Terrified by the news, Jehoshaphat looks to Lord and begs Him for HIS guidance. He trusts God wholeheartedly and prays a powerful prayer, admitting their great need for Him:
“O our God, won’t you stop them? We are powerless against this mighty army that is about to attack us. We do not know what to do, but we are looking to you for help.” 2 Chronicles 20:12

The story is amazing! Check out 2 Chronicles 20 and read what God does! I love how the people praise God before and during the calamity.

There is power in prayer and there is power in praise, friends. As we pray for Ukraine, and even as you go about your own life, remember where your help comes from: “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2

LET THE LIGHT IN
:::::
“In Him {JESUS} was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
John 1:4-5

Jesus Himself told us that we’d have dark times and trouble in this world, (John 16:33) but He also encouraged us that if we put our trust and focus on Him, we will endure. So take heart fam, the darkness and tears last for a moment, but JOY comes in the morning!
(See Psalm 30:5b)

In times such as these, how pivotal it is to remember that Jesus brings light into the world, and though the world can be full of darkness and sadness at times, it cannot overcome His light. In the end, there is true hope. Christ will forever prevail! All glory to Him! Be encouraged friends, and give your cares to Jesus. ๐Ÿ™

PROMISE KEEPER
:::::
Life can be hard at times, but God is forever good and He is in control, fam!
I pray these verses encourage your heart today:
• He keeps every promise forever.
{Psalm 146:6b}
• For the word of the LORD holds true, and we can trust everything He does.
{Psalm 33:4}
• Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.
{Proverbs 3:5}
• For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and His faithfulness continues to each generation.
{Psalm 100:5}
• For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
{John 3:16}

HE BINDS OUR WOUNDS
:::::
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3

I love this verse because it reminds me of our Lord’s compassionate care and mercy for us, and the hope that “this too shall pass.”

Take this fainted heart
Take these tainted hands
Wash me in Your love
Come like grace again
Even when my strength is lost
I'll praise You
Even when I have no song
I'll praise You
Even when it's hard to find the words
Louder then I'll sing Your praise
I will only sing Your praise

Take this mountain weight
Take these ocean tears
Hold me through the trial
Come like hope again

10. CHRIST IS KING

:::::
“But God says about his Son, ‘You are God, and you will rule as King forever! Your royal power brings about justice.’” Hebrews 1:8 CEV
:::::
Today I’m reminded that no matter what changes may come in life, or what loss we may experience, one thing remains true forever: Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of lords, and He reigns forever. All praise to Him! ๐Ÿ™

NOT YOUR HEART
:::::
We’ve all heard the saying, “Follow your heart,” but Scripture reminds us that we should instead follow the Holy Spirit’s leading instead of our heart.
You see, in Jeremiah 17:9 it says “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?” And in Galatians 5:25-26 it reminds us that “Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.”
Let’s follow the One worth following in EVERY aspect of our lives… we’ll be better off! ✌️Be encouraged.

FREEDOM IN CHRIST
::::::
Through Christ’s redeeming love, there is no shame or guilt of our past… we’ve been set free and are called to LIVE IN THAT FREEDOM! So let’s steward our time well, fam!

“For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.” Galatians 5:13

IN DUE TIME ⬆️
:::::
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.” 1 Peter 5:6
:::::
Ahhh… the beloved “in due time” phrase. That saying alone is humbling; it meekly suggests that God really has this whole thing under control… so give it to Him!!
Yep. When people suck—give it to Him; when people do you wrong—give it to Him; when you don’t get what you worked so hard for—give it to Him.

No matter what… stay humble, be kind, and work hard. Things won’t go as planned according to YOUR timing, but remember that God has this WHOLE thing—in DUE TIME (aka HIS TIME) under control. And He’ll lift you up, fam, so stay the course! God sees you!

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE ✌️
:::::
“Give me understanding and I will obey Your instructions; I will put them into practice with all my heart.”
Psalm 119:34

Practice makes good habits, and habits become a lifestyle. I love how James 1:22 puts it: “But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.”

So let’s stop fooling and start doing;
it’s really a decision that God has already equipped us to do! So get after exercising obedience to Christ and start living life to the FULLEST! Adventure in Christ awaits, fam! ⛷ ♥️

RETURN TO THE LORD.

One of my favorite things about God is His pursuit of us; He is the One who knows what we are REALLY like, yet He still loves us and is constantly pleading with us to turn from our past—our hurt and our habits, our sin and our shame, and turn to Him. Through Christ, we are redeemed! We are no longer defined by our past, but by our Savior!

Isaiah 44:22 reminds us, “I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.”

God loves you fam… RETURN to HIM!

YOU MAKE ME BRAVE
:::::
“Wicked people run away when no one chases them, but those who live right are as brave as lions.” Proverbs 28:1 CEV
:::::
May our faith be brave and bold… all for Christ! No fear can hinder now the promises You made! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿฆ

GOD SEES YOU
:::::
“The LORD looks down from heaven on the entire human race; He looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God.” Psalm 14:2

GOD SEES YOU
:::::
“The LORD looks down from heaven on the entire human race; He looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God.” Psalm 14:2
:::::
In everything you, and in every way you treat and speak to people, do it with integrity, because God sees your heart, fam. Seek Christ in every part of your life—Work, school, relationships and everything in between. Don’t look for the accolades that come from man, but look to please the One and only who gave His life so that we may live. That’s true wisdom. Always do the right thing, because GOD SEES YOU.♥️

THE GOODNESS OF GOD
::::::
“God our Savior showed us how good and kind He is. He saved us because of His mercy, and not because of any good things we have done. God washed us by the power of the Holy Spirit. He gave us new birth and a fresh beginning.”
Titus 3:4-5 CEV

Now THAT’S something worth singing about! Surely His goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives (see Psalm 23:6)! No matter what your day holds, look up and keep singing, fam, for HE IS GOOD! ๐ŸŽถ ๐Ÿ•Š

SETTLED
:::::
“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.”
Isaiah 1:18
:::::
The heart of God is for us to be united with Him, and by the blood of Christ, we are made blameless in His sight… as pure as snow! ❄️

John 3:16 reminds us: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

All praise and glory to Him who paid for our sins by His sacrifice!

JESUS IS ALL
:::::
This quote: what if… everything was stripped from you? Your health, your friends, your family, your rights, your property, your pride, your job, your dignity… would He STILL be all? Your faith is the only thing that can’t be taken from you, fam.

When you read about all that Corrie Ten Boom went through, but still said these words, it challenges you to look within… what if?!!

O LORD, may we find our treasure in YOU alone! ♥️๐Ÿ™

CHRIST BRIDGED THE GAP
:::::
Praise God, for He is merciful and He made a way! Thank you Jesus! ๐Ÿ™Œ

“There is only one God, and Christ Jesus is the only one who can bring us to God. Jesus was truly human, and He gave Himself to rescue all of us. God showed us this at the right time.”
1 Timothy 2:5-6 CEV
:::::

THE TIME IS ALWAYS RIPE⏰๐ŸŽ
::::::
“We must use time creatively, in the knowledge that the time is always ripe to do right.”
::::
Time and creativity is of the essence, fam! Let’s do good, love people and honor Christ.

SHINE
:::::
“You are like light for the whole world. A city built on top of a hill cannot be hidden, 15 and no one would light a lamp and put it under a clay pot. A lamp is placed on a lampstand, where it can give light to everyone in the house. 16 Make your light shine, so that others will see the good that you do and will praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:14-16 CEV

Live with purpose! Do it all for the Lord, fam; keep your head up and your light on! ๐Ÿ’ก

FAITH BRINGS JOY
:::::
“Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.” Romans 5:2

DO NOT WORRY
:::::
We can’t change anything by worrying, so let’s cast our cares on the Lord, fam! He’s got this—and He’s got you! You are valued and you are loved.
:::::
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” —JESUS ((Matthew 6:25-26)

AT THE NAME OF JESUS, EVERY KNEE WILL BOW
:::::
“For this reason God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow — in heaven and on earth and under the earth —
and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11
:::::
Do yourself a favor and read all of Philippians 2. O the love and humanity of Christ… may we live by His example in how we treat people and how we live our lives! All for His glory, fam! ๐Ÿ™Œ
